God has many roles and descriptors. He is Creator, Ruler, Judge, and Savior. While each of these is true, the Word of God reveals the primary motivation for each of these roles is his heart as a Father. He is first a Father, and He is a good Father. Regardless of how much love and affirmation you may or may not have received from your earthly father figure, the Gospel is your Heavenly Father’s emphatic statement of unrelenting, undefeated, never-ending love and affirmation to you and to me! The love of the Father towards you is unconditional.
